Fire Advisory Lifted June 26, 2025

Please be advised that a FIRE ADVISORY status has now been lifted effective immediately.

Effective immediately, there are no fire advisories or bans in the Town, and general permitting in accordance with precautionary conditions are once again allowed, in accordance with legislation, regulation and bylaw. We will continue to monitor conditions and fire risk throughout the Town and may update the fire safety status as warranted.

The Town of Onoway sincerely thanks residents and visitors for their patience and compliance with the recent fire advisory.

Residents are reminded that, although recent precipitation has improved conditions, we must remain vigilant and follow all current burning protocols and restrictions. Our behaviour is within our control—fire behaviour is not.
