FULL TIME PUBLIC WORKS OPERATOR

Position Overview
The Public Works Operator will perform daily duties such as Maintenance, and Repairs of Streets, Facilities, Equipment, Snow removal, Parks, Water and Wastewater Systems in a Team Setting. Proficient in the operation of Heavy Equipment ( Grader, Loader, Skid Steer, etc…)
The successful candidate will offer:
- Valid Alberta Operators License Class 3 with Air Brakes
- Minimum Grade 12 education (or equivalent)
- Competent and proficient in the operation of heavy equipment (grader, loader, bobcat, etc…) and/or willingness to be trained
- Preference will be given to those with Cat M series experience.
- Level 1 Water and Waste Water Certification would be considered an asset, and must be willingly to obtain within first year of employment
We support a Life-Work Balance and offer a Strong Benefit Program and Pension Plan
- Competitive Salary ranging from $28.00-$32.00 per hour depending upon experience
- Monday – Friday 7-3.30PM with On Call Rotation, Overtime may be required
- Benefit Plan with the Employer paying 80%
- Pension Plan, Employer matched at 5%
